Belgian Taverns Offer Snack Food Export Opportunities
Belgian yuppies turn to cafes and taverns when hit with a snack attack, according to a recent report prepared for the Foreign Agricultural Service. This could mean opportunities for U.S. exporters of high-quality, trendy foods to this sector of the market.
Brussels is called the "crossroads of Western Europe" because of its proximity to the majority of West European capitals. There are more than 52,000 eating establishments located there and in the rest of the Maryland-sized country.
