Nov. 14--Inland Empire investors looking to reclaim money from Riverside firm MX Factors have taken accusations of fraud and racketeering to federal court, where they hope to win back more than $8 million.
A U.S. District Court lawsuit brought by some 40 investors -- many from Corona -- lays out the plot points of a "high stakes and sophisticated Ponzi scheme" that funded the lavish lifestyles of those who took in the investments. The suit was filed Wednesday, said attorney Richard Sax.
