2003 NOV 18 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- A new study finds women with breast cancer should stop using hormone replacement therapy (HRT) as soon as they're diagnosed.
The study, to be published in the December 15, 2003, print issue of Cancer, says stopping HRT appears to lead to tumor regression prior to surgery. The full study was published online November 3, 2003, via Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com/cancer).
