Lillie Tennent
A memorial service will be held July 12 for Lillie Elizabeth "Lil" Tennent, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Eugene, who died July 2 of heart failure. She was 83.
Tennent was born Jan. 8, 1920, in La Grande to Walter and Maggie Smith Tate. She married Robert Tennent Sr., in Springfield on Aug. 31, 1940. He died Dec. 22, 1979.
She was a homemaker and worked for the Eugene Fruit Growers. She enjoyed sewing and her family. She lived in this area for 80 years before moving to Mesa in 2000.
