When Tiara Delgado graduated from Thurston High School in 1993 and left for the bright lights of Hollywood, she envisioned herself in front of the camera, not behind it.
But not every story has a predictable ending, so when Delgado returns home today it will be in her new role as documentary filmmaker. A free test screening of her first film, "Fragile Hopes from the Killing Fields," will be shown Thursday in Eugene.
The 30-minute movie, still in final edits, explores the relationships between survivors and their children 25 years after dictator Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge regime came to an end in Cambodia. About ...
