SALEM - When Oregon gets its own quarter next year, it will bear the image of a leaping salmon, a pristine view of Crater Lake, the snow-capped grandeur of Mount Hood or perhaps the scene of a covered wagon.
Those are the final picks of a 19-member citizens commission that has spent the past month wading through hours of public hearings and hundreds of letters and e-mails from Oregonians who clearly care a great deal about what their state's quarter will look like.
