JUNCTION CITY - Many golfers on the Nationwide Tour say they try to avoid thinking about the money list that dishes out 20 coveted PGA Tour cards for the following year.
Ted Purdy isn't one of them.
After every tournament, Purdy cuts out a copy of the latest money list and sticks it in his wallet.
"I check it constantly and always know where everyone's at," said Purdy, who's 14th on the list with $155,009. "In fact, this morning, I took who made the cut and analyzed where everyone on the money list was. I don't feel secure at all, so I have to keep playing well."
