SALEM - Gov. Ted Kulongoski warned Thursday that he may veto two bills - one that tweaks Oregon's ethics law and another that allows dependents of university students and others to use on-campus health services.
Kulongoski, who is required to give public notice if he is considering a veto, did not give reasons for his concerns in his announcement.
Spokeswoman Mary Ellen Glynn said the governor's biggest concern about the ethics measure, House Bill 3328, was that it would do more harm than good in ensuring that public officials and lobbyists are held to high standards when it comes to giving and accepting ...
