This Saturday's 25th anniversary celebration of the movie "Animal House" in Cottage Grove may be short on big name movie stars. But the big bash - which includes a toga party, an "Animal House" look alike contest, and several screenings of the film - celebrates the movie's local legacy. "Animal House" was filmed in Eugene, Cottage Grove and at other Lane County locations.
"It's just a fun way to celebrate the unique film history that Cottage Grove has," said Debbie Williamson-Smith, tourism and film marketing manager for the Convention & Visitors Association of Lane County.
