The ongoing game of musical chairs that already has shrunk the number of global aluminum companies really hasn't disrupted buyer-supplier relations. And it probably won't happen when Alcan of Canada takes over French competitor Pecchiney, either. There's too much metal for current or near-future demand to terminate the ongoing global buyers' market.
