Journal Register Company (NYSE: JRC) Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Robert M. Jelenic announced today the Company's acquisition of the assets of The North Attleborough Free Press, a weekly newspaper based in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, with circulation of approximately 13,500 serving North Attleboro, Attleboro Falls and certain neighboring communities, including Plainville, South Attleboro and Attleboro. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
