Wild goalie Dwayne Roloson made his fifth start and sixth appearance in seven November games Saturday, improving to 3-2-1 this month with a 0.87 goals-against average and 0.968 save percentage.
He has a 1.68 GAA and .938 save percentage this season.
"I don't read into it too much," goalie Manny Fernandez said last week. "I trust their judgment because Roli's playing great. It's something I totally respect."
Lemaire said before Thursday's game - a 2-0 loss in which Roloson stopped 28 shots - that one goalie could win the job, "but it's not right now because they ...
