Year after year, model after model, BMW manages to turn out cars that are the standard to which other manufacturers aspire.
BMW has done it again with the revised 3-Series, in particular the 330Ci coupe, a car powered by a 225-horsepower inline six-cylinder engine that sings as nice a note as any engine in any car.
The 3.0-liter develops 214 pound-feet of torque and should be more than enough engine for anyone. The lesser 3-Series 325Ci is equipped with an inline six-cylinder that makes 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.
