Why did a thousand Baptists cross the road?
To get to their new church, of course.
Following services Sunday afternoon at their temporary home at nearby Eugene Christian Fellowship, the Rev. Kimball Hodge led his First Baptist Church of Eugene congregation a few blocks to their new digs just off Coburg Road at the north edge of town.
