Article: No time for Sox to be Bashful.(Sports)

I realize now how wrong I've been when referring to the Blackhawks, Bears and White Sox as Mickey Mouse operations.

It's a terrible insult ... to the Mouse.

This occurs to me now having been to see the Mouse enough times to know that there is really no better operation going than the Mickey Mouse operation.

So to say the Bears, Sox or Hawks are Mickey Mouse in nature is to elevate them to a level that suggests strong customer service, spectacular employee performance, perfect marketing and superb management.

So you see, it makes no sense at all to refer to these bumbling, stumbling organizations as Mickey ...
