Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) announced today that it will provide $2 million worth of funding in grant and marketing related contributions to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History to support a major new exhibition of the history of transportation in America over the past 125 years.
The exhibition will include areas focusing on the automobile, rail, marine, and city transit. At 26,000 sq. ft., it will be the largest exhibition in the National Museum of American History and is expected to attract millions of visitors a year. "America on the Move" will open on ...
