The 108 teachers employed by the Southern Cayuga school district will receive at least a 3.058 percent salary increase for the current school year.
The raise, which is retroactive to July 1, is contained in a one-year contract recently approved by the teachers and district.
The Southern Cayuga Teachers Association ratified the contract Nov.12. The school board gave its endorsement Monday night.
The 3.058 percent raise will be given to 58 teachers with one to 10 years of service with the district. The contract also calls for lump sum longevity payments for 50 teachers, in addition to the 3.058 percent ...
