Outbreaks of hepatitis A in four states -- including three fatal cases in the Pittsburgh area -- possibly linked to contaminated stocks of green onions have prompted some Cincinnati area restaurants to stop serving the vegetable. But others will continue to offer it, as will Kroger and other grocery chains locally.
Northern Kentucky District Health Department has not issued an advisory about the threat posed by contaminated green onions, but the Hamilton County Health Department has.
