In the waning moments of Friday night's playoff game, a layer of fog began to settle on the field at Willamette High School.
From North Medford's sideline, the bank crept in from one end zone to the other, growing gradually thicker. By the time there were less than two minutes left in the game, it was nearly impossible to make out anything more than shapes on the Willamette sideline - the Wolverines were almost completely blocked from view.
