Have you ever had a snowball fight, or made a snowman, or even a snow fort? If you live in a climate where it gets cold enough to snow even part of the year, you've probably played in the fluffy white stuff. But have you ever built an entire igloo?
You might think that being inside an igloo, surrounded by ice and snow, would be extremely cold. Actually, it's warmer than being outdoors in the wind. It's also very quiet. Sounds from the outside can be heard, but they seem far away.
