Retired Gen. Wesley K. Clark's stalled presidential bid took a turn at the jugular of rivals John F. Kerry and Howard Dean yesterday, claiming they lack critical foreign policy experience to beat President Bush.
Clark's pollster and top foreign policy adviser told reporters Dean, as a former Vermont governor, has no credentials on foreign policy. And they said Kerry's 19 years on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee looks good but pales in comparison to Clark's "leadership" as NATO commander.
