Elk Grove has learned early this season that stealing is not all bad, especially in basketball.
Junior center Dominique Crosby played more like a guard in Tuesday's second game of the Fenton Tournament in Bensenville, snaring 7 steals along with her 6 rebounds in the Grens' 60-35 victory over the host Bison.
Elk Grove (1-0) had a total of 19 steals, many of which came when the Grens stripped Fenton post players as they tried to make moves inside. Danielle Farrell and Katie Klimczak added 4 steals apiece.
