The University of Washington baseball player found dead in his dorm room Feb. 28 died from an overdose of cocaine and opiates, a King County medical examiner spokesman said Tuesday.
Seattle firefighters had to break through a deadbolt to enter the room of Robert Brasier, 19, after an acquaintance called police. He was found dead in McMahon Hall about 7:20 p.m.
Brasier was a freshman on a partial scholarship from Galveston, Texas, where he won four state championships at Ball High School.
