GREEN BAY -- Ryan Longwell has always believed in the God-works-in-mysterious-ways thing, so the Green Bay Packers kicker doesn't think a lot about what might have been.
He can, however, appreciate irony.
With two field goals against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Longwell will become the Packers' all-time leader, passing Chris Jacke (173 field goals from 1989 through '96). And who better to do it against than the 49ers, the team that cut him and has had a revolving door of kickers since?
