Cargill Animal Nutrition announced Oct. 29 that it had reached an agreement with Wolfsen Land & Cattle Co. for Cargill to purchase the Simon Newman feed and commodity business in Turlock, Cal.
The acquisition closed Oct. 17, the announcement said.
The Simon Newman facility produces bulk animal feed for commercial dairies. It has a capacity of approximately 250,000 tons of feed and commodity products per year.
