ISSAQUAH -- Columbia River coach John O'Rourke had only heard about how talented Issaquah was. But after last night's 3A quarterfinals game, he'll never forget.
The Chieftains hung with Issaquah for the first two quarters, but the Eagles' high-octane offense came alive in the second half and sent Columbia River packing with a 41-21 victory at Issaquah Stadium.
Eagles running back Kevin Lawson carried the ball 23 times for 201 yards and four touchdowns, while quarterback Mark Gray threw for 260 more on 14-for-22 passing.
