2003 DEC 1 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Human mast cells have a TLR-4, innate and adaptive immune responses, and induce Th2 reactions.
According to a study from Japan, "rodent mast cells (MCs) are reported to play a pivotal role in both innate and adaptive immunity. However, there is so far no evidence that human MCs are involved in innate immunity.
