Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich announced that he will lead a campaign in Washington, D.C. to lift federal rules that bar states from buying drugs from Canada for its employees, reports the Chicago Tribune. Blagojevich had said earlier that he was considering buying Canadian drugs but that the Food and Drug Administration's regulations might prohibit state governments from doing so.
