Nov. 25--With the salt marshes of Jamaica Bay disappearing, the chairman of the state Assembly Environmental Conservation Committee made a special trip to Kingsborough College in Manhattan Beach to hear more about the problem.
Assemblyman Thomas DiNapoli (D-Great Neck) conducted a special session late last week in the college's Marine and Academic Center rotunda, which overlooks Jamaica Bay.
Assemblyman Steven Cymbrowitz (D-Sheepshead Bay), a member of the committee, said he requested the Brooklyn session.
