The fanciful title of this book should be a clue to the reader that this is actually a "story" rather than a serious scholarly text about the Indus Valley civilization. If read as a story it is quite well written and engaging, with lots of excellent illustrations taken primarily from the website www.harappa.com. However, if used as a source for accurate information on the Indus civilization, the reader should be forewarned that the presentation is seriously flawed.
