According to oInvest Venezuelao, the Venezuelan financial system is the smallest in Latin America, according to the ranking prepared by Softline Consultants for the first half of 2003. Among the leading economies of the region, Venezuela has the smallest financial system with the lowest capacity for savings and the lowest value loan portfolio.
