CONCORD - Trick plays that a team doesn't run all season are as much a part of Thanksgiving Day football as the games themselves.
Yesterday, Concord-Carlisle used a few of those rarely seen plays to defeat Bedford, 27-7, in the 32nd meeting between the two Dual County League schools. Concord-Carlisle has won four straight Thanksgiving Day games and holds a 20-11-1 edge in the series.
While C-C scored its first touchdown on a staple wing-T play, an inside handoff to fullback Dan Hoffman that went for a 50-yard run, both of the Patriots' other offensive scores came on plays they hadn't used for most of the ...
