Silicon Valley, Nov 28 (PTI) Indian-American candidate Kamala Harris is poised to become the next District Attorney of San Francisco at the December 9 elections.
If elected, Kamala, daughter of an Indian mother and an African-American father, will also become the first woman to hold the City's top criminal prosecutor's job.
Harris has 51 per cent to 48 per cent lead among those most likely to vote in the Dec. 9 runoff, a study conducted by SurveyUSA has suggested. Though it is within the survey's margin of error, she has a solid 52 per cent to 44 per cent ...
