Dec. 1--Retro is the buzzword for this year's hot toys.
And those looking for the perfect unusual gift or stocking stuffer need not look much farther than their closest independent toy store or the packed toy aisles at Toys "R" Us, Wal-Mart, Kmart or Target.
With no one toy capturing the market as with the Tickle Me Elmo, Playstation or Furby crazes of past years, the toy market looks a bit like it did in the 1980s, according to salespeople at Albuquerque's toy outlets.
