NEW YORK (FNS) -- Josephine Chaus has been elected chairwoman and chief executive officer of Bernard Chaus, Inc., succeeding her late husband, Bernard Chaus, who founded the company.
The company also named executive vice president Nicole Eskenazi to head all selling divisions. This is a new post. Bernard and Josephine Chaus had shared this role.
Josephine Chaus, 39, retains the presidency she has held since 1980. Involved with the moderate-price sportswear company since its inception in 1975, she developed the designs for the Chaus lines.
