I had one and never knew it. My three-year-old daughter fell in love with one. It joined our family over a year ago. It's soft, whistles for food, and loves attention. My daughter named it Oink Oink. It's not a pig nor a bird. This cute, new addition is a CAVY, a rodent of 20 species in South America. Oink Oink is a guinea pig, otherwise known as a "pocket pet."
