Business meeting bookings steady, local hotels report.(Meetings and Conventions: feature section)

If the business meeting portion of a hotel's is a harbinger of economic trends--increasing in good economic times, decreasing during tight economies--things are looking up for Fairfield County's economic future.

"For us in terms of business meetings, we've actually been fairly steady since may of this year," said Todd Howe, director of sales and marketing at Four Points Sheraton in Norwalk.
