Dec. 3--FORT WORTH, Texas--With its chief executive moving to the top job at parent company Sabre Holdings, the Internet travel site Travelocity is turning to a 32-year-old online travel veteran in hopes for a revival after two years of stagnation.
Michelle Peluso, who joined Travelocity in April 2002 and served as senior vice president of product strategy and distribution, was named its new president and chief executive Tuesday. She replaces Sam Gilliland, who was tapped to be Sabre's new chief executive.
