Brasil Ferrovias, Brazilian railroad holding comprised of Ferronorte, Ferroban and Novoeste, completed the integration of the operations of broad and narrow gauges as an alternative to reduce costs. Novoeste and Ferroban operate the narrow gauges and Ferroban and Ferronorte, the broad one. The company' plan is part of a project of the national land transportation agency ANTT (Agencia Nacional de Transportes Terrestres) since Brasil Ferrovias is in default of the leasing payment, concession and fines for non compliance with the regulation.
