Japanese trends in space-saving and servo-drives

JAPAN is the source of much innovative injection moulding technology which often seems never to find its way to the West. However, reports from the latest Japanplas exhibition identified a couple of trends which do have parallels among Western machine manufacturers -- increasing compactness and greater use of servo-drive electric motors.
