Howard Davis' comfort designs yield two soling developments
NEW YORK - Howard Davis, designer, teacher, and footwear visionary, says he is "on a campaign to give the human foot comfort."
A footwear designer for more than 30 years - his resume includes stints at Pappagallo, Delman and he also teaches footwear design at Parsons School of Design - Davis has developed two ideas for comfort footwear.
The 8-Track, a sole formed in an |8' shape that is scooped out in the heel and the forepart, is designed to suspend the foot in air.
