One of the brightest stars in Food Network's firmament this year is advertising sales. In the industry at large, cable network ad revenues have been expanding at a rate of about 11.7 percent this year, according to Kagan World Media. At the Food Network, however, growth has been boiling along at about twice that, with E.W. Scripps' quarterly reports citing growth of 25-30 percent.
