New xDSL technologies are allowing broadband operators to reach hitherto unserved areas and to offer customers higher speed (over 2 Mbps) broadband access services over existing network infrastructure, according to a new report released recently by Analysys, the global advisers on telecoms, IT and media (www.analysys.com). This expansion of coverage and services will significantly boost operators' broadband revenues in key Western European countries.
