Soaring health care costs have led Bill Ford, CEO of Ford Motor Co., to consider backing some form of national health care.
"Clearly, it's our biggest issue we have, bar none. The health care issue is one that I find intractable,'' Bill Ford told Automotive News last week.
He said that executives from Ford, GM and DaimlerChrysler have discussed the issue; he hopes the Big 3 can endorse a unified position on health care.
