CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. -- The 100-year-old Westinghouse brand name has emerged on a line of LCD TVs manufactured by a major Taiwanese factory.

Westinghouse Digital is the name of the U.S. sales company, based here, which is taking LCD TVs and eventually other products to retail. The company launched sales with New York-based J&R and consumer electronics distributor Metron North America, based in Knoxville, Tenn.
