Yogyakarta, Dec 7 (ANTARA) - Golkar Party Chairman Akbar Tanjung said on Sunday the party aims to grab 30 percent of the total votes in the 2004 general elections. "In the general elections next year, Golkar Party hopes to secure 30 percent of total votes or at least it could maintain its performance in the previous elections when it gained 24 percent of the total votes," he said at the party's 39th anniversary celebration here.
