Finding a mate who shares the same preference in pets becomes increasingly important to women as they get older, according to a Matchmaker.com survey on dating preferences among women and men. While 17% of women age 30 or younger want to know whether a potential date prefers cats or dogs, 43% of women age 50 and older consider this important. Women in their 20s are twice as likely as those in their 30s, 40s, or 50s to place importance on how frequently a partner wants to have sex after marriage, while men of every age consider frequent sex to be equally important.
