Zippo Manufacturing Company, Bradford, Pa., produced the 400 millionth lighter in its 71-year history at 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 3, at the company's manufacturing plant in Bradford. The milestone lighter, which was a deep-carved, high-polish Armor lighter marked with the production date and time, will be on permanent display in the company's museum in the Zippo/Case Visitors Center.
