SEOUL, Dec 8 Asia Pulse - Hyundai Elevator Co. (KSE:17800) said today that it has asked the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) to investigate the cause for the latest surge in its share prices.
"Over the past week, Hyundai Elevator stocks staged an exceptionally strong rally, despite a massive capital increase slated for Dec. 15-16," a company spokesman said.
"A stock generally turns weak toward a capital increase. We have asked the watchdog agency to look into possible intervention by obstructionist forces in the rally."
