ELLENSBURG -- Central Washington University will induct five men and three women into its athletics Hall of Fame in ceremonies tonight as part of the CWU homecoming festivities.
It's the largest induction class since the inaugural group in 1983.
The class includes former football players Mike (Estes) Patton (1988-89), Don Hazen (1963-66) and Pat Patterson (1988-89), basketball standouts Bill Lee (1948-52) and Jason Pepper (1989-90, 1992-93), volleyball star Michelle Hiebert (1989-91), javelin thrower Lorna Beaver Martinson (1980-83) and athletic department administrator Paula Romeo (1977-2004).
